Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his new followers
Today every Indian has a question, why is BJP
projecting Patel? Why a tall statue?
We have to
understand that every party has an ideology. Some time the ideology will be a
same from start to end (communist parties has a Marxist ideology from there
starts). There are other set of parties which does not have a fixed ideology
but adopt ideology at different point of time (INC had different point during periods after independence)
First we have to look into the INC and the legacy of Patel. Before 1907 the goal of INC was not independence,
the party was run by people of the theosophical society and the upper class
people. The early INC members were not moderate or secular, to tell you an
example Thilak was first arrested by the British for provoking the people of Maharashtra during the plague .
Thilak advocated to people that you should stop people from killing the mouse
because it is the vehicle of lord Ganesh. It is clearly understood that INC had
a extreme right wing from the beginning, latter this extreme right wing has
become RSS, Sang Parivar,VHP and BJP.
Even though
INC claims a secular party from M.K.Gandhi’s day to till date, the reality is
that it plays opportunist politics in India. The INC never had any ideology
after the independence they just wanted to run the government with some high
profile upper class people. Among the
first leaders of the post independent India is Sardar Patel, who came from
Gujarat and he was a pupil of M.K.Gandhi
. Then you know that he will be a religious person and always advocate Hindu religion above all. Let me tell you a historic
fact, everyone know that Patel united the kingdoms of India but how he did it? Patel
was very strong to the fact that Hyderabad should not join Pakistan because it
was a Hindu majority state and the ruler in a Muslim; on the other hand the
Kashmir was asked not to join Pakistan
because it was ruled by a Hindu king.
Patel was
more of a non-secular leader and a person who had an ideology of a Hindu state, this is one the
reason why Patel is now projected the icon of BJP. A simple question may arise among
the readers, is BJP does not have great icons or leaders? The answer is yes,
they have their icons and leaders. Two of them are Veer Sarvakar and Golwalkar.
BJP or RSS
will accept Sarvakar and Golwalkar has their
leaders but people will not accept or the worst problem is people don’t know
who these people. The next question is who are these people? What have they
done to BJP or India?
policy only during 1940. Sarvakar was also considered
one of the conspirators in the M K Gandhi assignation case but later let off
because of lack of evidence. Later Gopal Godse has personally written about the
events of the assignation and there leaders.
The second
person Golwalkar
“The non-Hindu people of Hindustan must either adopt Hindu culture and language, must learn and
respect and hold in reverence the Hindu religion, must entertain no idea but of
those of glorification of the Hindu race and culture ... In a word they must
cease to be foreigners, or may stay in the country, wholly subordinated to the
Hindu nation, claiming nothing, deserving no privileges, far less any
preferential treatment—not even citizens' rights.”
These are the words
of Golwalkar who was also from Maharashtra and became the leader of the RSS. The above
sentence is just an example of his views. Golwalkar was very much supportive
about Hitler and his views, this might look very shocking but you cannot deny
the truth. Same like Hitler,Golwalkar also very strong about having a single supreme
race. All his view is mentioned in his 1939 book We, Our Nationhood Defined.
So you must be clear by now that why are they
are borrowing Patel or Gandhi not because they are great leaders only because
they are mascots of Hinduism. All know that they are playing only because
people are still under the opium. Religion is the opium of the masses.
